9. Description of the Exhibits (Brief):

A brief description highlighting:

Neural circuitry and its Networking: A Conceptual Model

The current exhibit demonstrates how neural processing facilitates motor functioning of the body, in turn enabling us to understand various neural circuits and loops which act and function in an integrated way.

Mangroves and Coal reefs: An Epitome of Symbiosis

The model exhibits the basic cohesive association of mangroves and coral reefs, which together function in the consolidation and safeguarding of marine ecosystems. Besides, the model also represents a biodiversity hub.

Health implications of PH in Cool drinks: Let us dive

The major objective of the exhibits is to spread awareness about the health implications of cool drinks, particularly, how it causes negative consequences on the overall metabolism.

Sustainable Ecosystem:

The current model demonstrates the ability of ecosystem to sustain its functions by interaction between biotic and abiotic substances. The model projects the basic premise of ecosystem functioning.

Know your Snakes:

The basic motive of this model is to spread awareness regarding keys to distinguish poisonous and non-poisonous snakes based on morphological and other key signatures. It also gives us ideas about various snakes, both poisonous and non poisonous.

Living Light: Ray of Hope for Underwater animals

The model exhibits the versatile physiological adaptations of animals in tune of adverse environmental conditions of the marine ecosystem, with bio luminescence as the reference model. Bio luminescence enables the animals to perform various metabolic activities in an unrestricted way.

Implications of mobile radiations on circadian rhythms:

The major objective of the model is to spread public awareness on the health implications of mobile radiation on circadian rhythms, which determines the day to day activities of human physiology.

Exhibition of Exotic endangered animals:

Our department is excited to showcase the unique biodiversity species, for instance, Macau birds to demonstrate the unique bio diversity value, esthetic purpose. The endangered animals which we have exhibited are of exotic origin.

Outcomes of the Event

  • Enhanced student engagement and creativity

  • Strengthened practical understanding of theoretical concepts

  • Encouraged research and innovation culture

  • Identification of projects for future competitions / research
