LUMINA2K26 FEST- Zoology Department Inter Collegiate Competetions

 

Details of the Activity :

Department of zoology, ALC has organized a Two Day Students fest titled LUMINA 2K26, the major objective of the fest is to encourage students of different colleges to participate in various academic linked events, competitions and games for holistic development of students knowledge and inclination towards Zoology.

Dr Swarajya Lakshmi, medical officer at department of psychiatry, for de addiction center, old GGH, Vijayawada was invited as chief guest to motivate students and to spread awareness on various  ailments attributed to social media.

 Different activities like essay competition, PPT presentations, treasure hunt, posters and others have been conducted in the event and students have enthusiastically participated in the events.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Rex Angelo, SJ -  Correspondent and Rev. Fr. Dr S. Melchior, SJ, Principal of of Andhra Loyola College has graced the occasion.

Students of all the three years BSc program have meticulous organized the fest, and have been supervised by T.  Sandhyasri, Head of the department of Zoology and Dr. SK Chand Basha, Assistant professor in Zoology.


The first day had covered many exciting competitions bee like Essay writing, poster presentation, elocution, PPT presentation and Treasure hunt in both the morning and afternoon sessions

Students from neighboring colleges like Maris Stella, KBN, SDMS, Sarath Chandra and Students of ALC of various programs actively participated in competitions.

DAY-2(10-02-2026)

The day two fest has started with interesting and exciting competitions like Quiz, debate, Talent show, Photography competition.

The fest ended with a valedictory program with distribution of certificates, medals and mementos to the winners in the competitions
