Details of the Activity:

The Department of Biotechnology & Zoology in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC), organized a Workshop on MOLECULAR TECHNIQUES IN BIOLOGY from 5th to 7th February 2024. Dr.A.R.S.Badarinadh, Medical Geneticist and District Consultant, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Krishna Dt was the resource person. The Workshop involved training the participants on important techniques such as Isolation of DNA from blood, PCR and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis. 

The convenor of the program Dr.P.V.S.Sairam, Co-Ordinator of IQAC introduced the theme of the Workshop and emphasized on the importance of these techniques in regular research works for advanced discoveries in Biological Sciences. These workshops collectively provide a platform for the students to enhance their knowledge of human sciences and their applications using advanced technologies. The proceedings of the workshop were introduced by the organising secretary and ended with a formal Vote of Thanks by the organising secretaries Mrs. T. Sandhya Sri and Mrs.S.Srilakshmi
